AWA Australia is proud to announce that in December of 2007 there will be a championship tournament taking place to crown the very first AWA Australian Heavyweight Champion. The tournament will consist of Australia's top wrestlers battling it out to see who is the very best in Australia. There will be three brackets over three months and the winner will be crowned at their Anniversary Show early in 2008.Bracket One has now been booked for December 15th 2007 and will consist of Carlo Cannon who was trained by Lance Storm and regarded as one of his best students. The Shark a former AAW Champion and one of the top wrestlers in Australia. Murahashi a Japanese wrestler now residing in Western Australia. Dustin Dice, Percy & B-Money.
