AWA Australia: Australian Championship Bracket Two Results
AWA
Well folks this is it, the show that will decide just who will be competing in the main event of Anniversary II alongside TNT and The Shark to crown the very first AWA Australian Champion. Now for the results….
The Show kicked off with the first round of bracket two and in the first match current AAW Champion NC Viper went up against the dominate force of Jarrad Slate.
The two men warmed up the crowd, then shook hands and got the match underway. Slate took advantage outwrestling the power house. The match was very even but Slate gain the victory when he countered Viper's Sidewinder into a crucifix pin.
Following that match AWA Australia fans were treated to the debuting Ryan Eagles from
Eagles took Valour to school taking him down to the matt countless times then started to work him arm. Once Valour got back to his feet Eagles was still dominate and Valour as introduced to some nice chops in the corner which and the entire audience popping with each slap. Valour then cheated his way back into the match and worked down Eagles with some big moves. In the end it was Ryan Eagles gaining the victory after making Valour tap out to a modified figure four leg lock. Ryan Eagles will now meet Jarrad Slate in the Semi-Final
Now its time for the final match of bracket two. Current AAW Independent Champion Jake Paragon has been on a roll lately. However Paragon has so many distractions right now. He has David Adams breathing down his neck for his championship, a shot at being AWA Australian Champion and do get that shot must go through Rave which means this is not going to be easy.
For Rave, its all or nothing. He has told us that he has never been more focused on anything in this life and he will stop at nothing to take that championship. Bracket Two is probably one of the toughest brackets so far and Rave is going to have to over come adversity if he is even to get a shot.
The two men make there way to the ring and Rave quickly finds out that he is going to have to use his knowledge and speed to take down the monster that is Jake Paragon. The match was a pretty even contest and saw some amazing displays of passion from both contestants. There was a part of the match where Rave leaped over the top rope and was caught by Paragon then scoop slammed from the ring to the floor! Both men put there bodies on the line but in the end it was was Rave who overcome the odds and score a pinfall on Jake Paragon and will now meet either Ryan Eagles or Jarrad Slate in the final later in the night!
Now that round one of bracket two was out the way we go back to action with David Adams taking on Dustin Dice. This bout was highly entertaining and fast paced with both mens styles being very similar. David Adams the currently number one contender for the Independent Championship however made a simple mistake in the match and the veteran Dustin Dice took advantage of the situation and score a pin fall victory over the contender. This can not be good for the confidence of young David Adams as he prepares for his upcoming championship match.
Its semi final time! Jarrad Slate vs Ryan Eagles. The winner will face Rave in the main event and the winner of that match go on to face The Shark & TNT at Anniversary 2 for the AWA Australian Championship. This was a highly entertaining match which saw a different side of Ryan Eagles. Eagles become more aggressive and started to ignore the fans. Slate kept is cool during the match which allowed him to pick up on Eagles mistakes and at times embarrass him much to the crowds delight. Slate was once again dominate in this match however it was the more experienced Ryan Eagles who once again made another victim tap out to his devastating submission move. Your winner and the man the will go the the final of bracket two..Ryan Eagles!
Ebinizah then announced that it was time for the Contract Match between Craven and The Shark. Craven has been showing up to AWA Australia uninvited and has been getting involved in other peoples business and Ebinizah has had enough. At AWA Action last month Craven crashed The Shark celebration Ceremony and now will face that man for a contract to once again be an active competitor in the AWA. The two took no time at all to get into the match as it started of with big right hands from both wrestlers. Craven saw an opening and took it hitting a lou thez press on Shark to which the crowd went crazy. Shark was then quick to cut Craven off and once again take control. Towards the end of the match Craven feed of the crowd and started to fire back on Shark but was once again stopped in his tracks. Shark went to the outside and grabbed a Chair but it was at that point where we heard the familiar music of one..KILLAH! Killah made his return to AWA Australia and took the chair off Shark and choked him in the ropes. Craven then capitalized with a bulldog but the referee was down from an incident before hand. Craven covered The Shark but to no luck, he then checked on the referee and Shark cheap shot Craven. Made a cover then on two Rave run out pull shark from the ring and hit the PU! Shark was thrown back in the ring and Craven hit his finisher for the win. Craven now is now officially back in AWA Australia!
Kid Kapri made his way to the ring and took the mic. The talked about the fact the feels he no longer needs to find a tag team partner as he is good enough by himself. He then announced that he is good enough to be a tag team himself! Kapri then challenged two people to wrestle him in a handicap tag team. The challenge was answered by B-Money and Percy T Longwinkler. B-Money and Percy worked well as a unit and and had fun working on Kapri together. During the match Money and Percy hit a row boat on Kapri which got the crowd going. Kapri did well in the match but was no match for the two. In the end it was Percy that managed to get the roll up and score a pin fall for his team!
Main Event
This is it. The match we have been waiting for since Brackets One and Three finished. Once this match is over the main event of the biggest event on the calendar will be known. Ebinizah made his way to the ring for the traditional Main Event introductions. After the introduction Ryan Eagles decided it wasn’t good enough and did is own introduction again. The bell rings and the two men circle the ring. The two lock up then Eagles bails from the ring claiming that Rave pulled his hair. Eagles gets back in the ring once again the two lock up and Eagles overpowers Rave and throws him to the floor. Both men then standing then battle it out with some nice chain wrestling ending in Rave taking control. Eagles then fought back and once again took control of the match. Both men gave 110% they took it inside and outside of the ring and with both switching control and outshining the other, Eagles hit a spinning neckbreaker from the ring to the outside then Rave hit a flapjack onto the entrance ramp. Then finish came when Rave went for the PU Piledriver which was then countered by Eagles then counted once again by Rave into sunsetflip for the three count. Eagles looked on shocked and could not believe what just happened. Rave is now going to headline Anniversary and has a shot at becoming AWA Australian Champion!

AWA Australia: New Years Action
AWA Australia/AAW -New Years Action Show!
AWA Australia kicked off the new year with bang! Fans where excited as the entered the Action Zone and welcome by a huge new stage and new setup. The Action Zone has never been hotter! Not only was the new setup hot but the action that took place in the ring was twice as hot.
The show kicked off with the AAW Independent Champion Jake Paragon. Paragon made his way to the ring and talked about how he beat MDK so bad last show that he is not gonna show up again. He then talked about David Adams. David Adams is the Number one Contender for the Independent Championship and has been on a roll since he one that shot by defeating MDK and Murahashi in a Three Way. Paragon explain that he was gonna make an example of everyone who was in that match, he started with MDK now he is gonna take down Murahashi then finish David Adams for good.
When the final bell rung Jake Paragon did just that. Murahashi put up one hell of a fight but Paragon was too strong and the Japanese superstar fell to Paragons Powerbomb. Your Winner Jake Paragon. Next Show Jake Paragon will be apart of the AWA Australian Championship Tournament, then after that must defend his Independent Championship against the future of AAW David Adams! Its defiantly gonna be a busy month for the Independent Champion..Jake Paragon!
Next match of the night was a Tag Team bout featuring the team of Dustin & Kid Kapri against Percy & David Adams. Now there is abit of story going into this match. Kid Kapri is dead set and forming the most dominate Tag Team in AAW. Its Kapris mission to find a tag team partner worthy of being his partner. Kapri began the hunt last show scouting out MDK. However after watching the match against Paragon could clearly see that MDK was no were near good enough to be the partner of one Kid Kapri so Kapri organised to Tag with Dustin Dice tonight to teach Percy a lesson.
Percy lost a match a few months ago to Dustin Dice which meant he had to do exactly what Dice tells him. However so far that has not happened. Percy not only helped Carlo Cannon hit the Sexyback on Dice last show, he has also been costing Dice matches. David Adams stepped up and said he would help Percy out which lead to this Tag Team Match.
Dustin Dice and Kid Kapri worked well as a team and where very dominate throughout the match however it would be the team of Percy and David Adams that scored a pin fall victory over the two. The crowd went nuts as the underdogs beat the team of Dustin Dice & Kid Kapri.
After the tag team bout the main lights went down and the stage was lit up as Ebinizah the Commissioner of AAW announced to the ring the winner of Bracket One..The Shark. The Shark’s music hit and he made his way down to the ring for his celebration ceremony. The Shark once again talked about just how great he is then a video played on the action tron in dedication of the shark. Halfway through the video the video was cut and Craven’s music hit. Craven took the mic and started talking about how he is feed up with the way Dustin Dice is treating Percy. Shark cut him off and said that this was the sharks time not Cravens. Shark got in Cravens face then Ebinizah announced that since Craven has been a pain in his behind for so long he asked Craven if he would put everything on the line in a Contract match. If Craven loses he is out of AAW for good, If we wins he gets an AWA Australia contract. Craven accepted then asked who is opponent will be..Shark then said its gonna be him now then attacked Craven from behind. Shark started stomping Craven but Craven managed to get back to his feet and fight The Shark off, Dustin Dice snuck in from behind and help Shark take down Craven. Percy then hit the ring and jumped on Sharks back but to no avail as he was thrown into the turnbuckle. It took to aid of B-Money to eventually chase off Dice & Shark. As Dice and Shark bailed all three stood in the ring a celebrated getting ready for January 19th.
After all the commotion of the celebration ceremony the night moved forward into a match for the commissioners job in AAW. However this was no ordinary match this was a Hardcore Match! Ebinizah vs Jarrad Slate. Not many people ever expected this to happen. Ebinizah tried to attack slate with a whole bunch of clipboards and these attacks did nothing to Slate as the monster didn’t even fall down. Slate the threw Ebinizah around like a rag doll. He even used a cricket bat to the downstairs of the commissioner. In the end the risk an job Ebinizah put up to fight Slate turned sour as Jarrad Slate won the match and will become Commissioner for one night after the January 19th Show.
Up next was the Ravemeister who has been more focused then he has ever been. Rave has one goal and that is to be the AWA Australian Champion. He put his spot in the Tournament on the line against three other wrestlers to prove he earned that spot and that we will win Bracket Two. First out was Murahashi. Once again Murahashi put up one hell of a fight but Ravemeister was too good then an unknown made his way out bue he didn’t last long has Rave took him down straight away then hit a senton off the top rope for the three count. Rave looked anxiously at the entrance way for the final competitor. The familiar music of B-Money hit and the crowd looked on as these two friends got ready for battle. Money talked about how Shark screwed him last show so he wants another shot to get into the tournament. Rave said that they are cool but if he gets in the ring he is gonna go all out and make sure him wins. The two shook hands then started the match. The battled it out and in the end Rave took advantage of B-Moneys high risk top rope leg drop and won the match with his PU finisher. Rave now moves on to January 19th and will be apart of the AWA Australian Championship Tournament.
As the night comes to a close AWA Australia fans prepare for the main event. A two on one handicap match. The current AAW Champion NC Viper against the team of Mark Valour and Mange. Viper came out to a huge pop while Valour and Mange came out to a chorus of boos. Valour proclaimed himself the captain of the team and told Mange that he will get the pin fall over Viper. During the match Mange didn’t listen to the self-proclaimed captain and went for some covers himself. This angered Valour and the two started the blame game when the match didn’t go according to plan. In the end Valour snapped at clocked Mange with a chair then proceeded to beat down Viper. Valour continued the attack leaving both men laying after the match. Valour made sure he was the last man standing in 2008!
